Summershow 2008

The “International Club for American Miniature Horses” would like to thank you very much for your support, participation or other interest in this first edition of the two-day, international Summershow.

The Summershow is another ICAMH initiative. It is a show that is being held mid Summer, as already suggested by the name. This new event is being organised as an extra show besides the already existing Miniature Extravaganza, which is held annually around Whitsun.

The participants to the ICAMH shows come from many countries and often travel very far to attend, which is really great. We hope everybody had a pleasant and
successful two days, in the same friendly, sportive atmosphere as the previous ICAMH events have become known for.

Although the number of entries has not yet outdone that of the Miniature Extravaganza, the expectations for the Summershow are high!

This first Summershow took place on the 19th and 20th July 2008, at the private grounds of River Valley Ranch in the Netherlands. We would like to thank the Pijpstra family very much for their hospitality!

Saturday 19th July in the afternoon, the AMHR horses took the showring. The second day, Sunday 20th July, an AMHA approved show was held. Mr. Jim Havelhurst from the USA judged both days. Show manager was Esther Pijpstra from the Netherlands.
