Spring Fling funshow 2011

On the 8th of May 2011, the ICAMH organized the Spring Fling funshow 2011 for mini horses of all breeds.

The judging will commence at 09.30 hours. There will be judged according to the rules in the AMHA rulebook, but the Spring Fling funshow is not an official AMHA show.

For this funshow, all mini horses that are within the following size limits may be entered (measured on the last manehair):

• yearlings: up to 36 inches
• two-year-olds: up to 37 inches
• 3 years of age and older: up to 38 inches.

The owner has to measure the horse him/herself, on the last manehair, and write down the result of this measuring on the entry form. Horses are not measured again at the show, only when in doubt.

The judging

There will be two judges:

• Mrs. Alison Johnston from England, who will judge from the AMHA point of view, and
• Mr. Jan Jans from the Netherlands, who will judge from the NMPRS point of view.

All horses will be judged and placed by both judges, so each horse gets 2 evaluations.

Location

This funshow will be held at Manege Het Zwarte Water, Breemhorstsedijk 65, 5425 RD De Mortel, the Netherlands, tel.: +31 (0)492 319292, www.hetzwartewater.nl.

If you would like to use stabling at the show location, you have to contact Manege “Het Zwarte Water” about this yourself.

Participation

The entry fee is:

• for members € 7,50 per horse per class;
• for non-members € 10,00 per horse per class.

Upon collecting your exhibitor number, a guarantor fee has to be paid (in cash) of € 5,00 per number. This amount is fully refundable when the number is returned to the organization after the show.

When you collect your exhibitor number, your horse’s passport will be checked for meeting the requirements for valid vaccination against equine influenza (see entry form).

• In the classes jumper, hunter, driving and obstacle: each horse can only participate once in a class, and must be at least 3 years of age.
• Age of youth is determined at 1st January 2011.
