Spring Fling funshow 2010

On the 1st of May 2010, the ICAMH had organized a Spring Fling funshow for mini horses of all breeds. This funshow was held at Manege “Het Zwarte Water” in De Mortel, the Netherlands.

As the Spring Fling funshow started immediately after lunchtime, it had been made possible to book a lunch buffet.
This buffet was held prior to the start of the Spring Fling funshow, and was enjoyed also by the participants in the schooling-show that same morning.

The Spring Fling funshow was judged according to the rules in the AMHA rulebook, but it was not an official AMHA show.
All mini horses that are within the following size limits could participate (measured on the last manehair):

yearlings: up to 36 inches
two-year-olds: up to 37 inches
3 years of age and older: up to 38 inches.

The owner had to measure the horse him/herself, on the last manehair, and write down the result of this measuring on the entry form. Horses were not be measured again at the show, only when in doubt.

The judges were Mrs. Alison Johnston from England and Mr. Jan Jans from the Netherlands. All horses were judged and placed by both judges, so each horse got 2 evaluations.
